Just back from wonderful Northern Idaho. If you've never heard of Sandpoint, Idaho..you have to visit it some day. It's the closest place to heaven "God's Country" that I know. Just so happens that I was able to spend two lovely years living in this wonderful place in the United States. Last week I was fortunate enough to go back to visit some of my good friends!

This was my post of Facebook on Oct. 2, 2011 while still in Sandpoint. I still have a special place in my heart for this place...kayaking, hiking, eating Huckleberry Pie, special friends, collecting sea/lake glass, picking plums, making Huckleberry Jam and shooting the breeze with friends....life does not get any better.

Sandpoint is a place that you feel at home once you arrive. It is that special of a place. It's like coming home to grandma's house and all the outdoor activities to go along with it. Hiking, skiing, biking, kayaking are just a few of the activities that you can enjoy there. Here are some photos for my visit. Enjoy.
